A world of wooden handicrafts
“When I was a kid, my father often made toys for me. Now together we make toys for my kids,” says Hu'an, a wood craftsman from the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. He learns wood-carving from his father, an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage. Their home is filled with wooden handicrafts, such as utensils and toys.
