Self-taught inventor
“As for why they call me ‘inventor’, it’s because I like to make some small innovations at work,” says Aierken Nuermaiti, from Kashgar in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. He works as a team leader in a local factory, responsible for personnel management and machinery maintenance, and likes to read and innovate. He recently made an egg incubator and wants to send it to his parents as a nice surprise.
